Number Booklets

Every day this month the children have the opportunity to print numbers as we guess how many objects are in the Happy Helper's estimation jar. Number formation is a big focus during this task. To assist the children in learning how to print numbers properly we sent home special booklets today. The children may keep the number booklets at home.  The verses are pretty catchy.

Please refer to the green and red dots as where your child will "start" and "stop". They may enjoy tracing the numbers and then printing them on their own. As an extension, please encourage your child to print the numbers independently.  There are lots of fun ways to do this without using paper/pencils (e.g., making numbers in bath bubbles, printing on a sealed ziploc bag filled with coloured hair gel, forming numbers "in the air"). Have fun!
