| You likely heard a lot of talk about a pigeon at your homes! This hilarious pigeon is Mo Willem's main character in one of his series of books. We enjoyed his "Knuffle Bunny" books as well. We created 2 class books based on these incredible book series. They are being circulated through the class. |

| Several of the children were so taken with the Pigeon character that they began writing their own books about him. Their topics were very creative. Several of them included a second main character as a Leprechaun. We are very proud of our authors and illustrators in Room 106. |
