1) our recent passport activity with our gr. 7/8 Big Buddies (visiting different countries and learning about this destinations through QR codes)
2) the hunt with our gr. 7/8 Big Buddies for the Seven Natural Wonders Of The World (using a school map)
3) the hunt for animals from Guatemala.
These activities lead into the idea of following directions and mapping. Recently the JK/SK students have really enjoyed sending their peers on hunts within our school. They came up with the idea of designing a path for their classmates to follow and taping large Xs up in the school at the final destination.
